U.S. Crop Applications
This article explains economic-environmental tradeoffs among alternative crop rotations. The article summary gives methods and results but not a clear presentation of method.

Biomass energy trade-offs
Evaluating the Economic Costs, Benefits and Tradeoffs of Dedicated Biomass Energy Systems: The Importance of Scale. This in an example of economic-environmental tradeoff analysis applied to bio-fuels.
Recent Developments:
A complex model illustrating trade-offs between crop net income and agrichemical risk factors in developing countries has been developed under the Tradeoff Analysis Project. This decision support model is based on spatially-explicit econometric simulation models linked to spatially-referenced biophysical simulation models to simulate land use and input use decisions and their impact on e.g. environment, poverty, human health, and food security. Details are available from the collaborating partners:
The environment-profitability trade-off sites on the Web of which we are aware are all oriented toward researcher use. All but the last of these sites are quite complex and specifically targeted.
